Monaco welcomes Rubens
Rubens Barrichello, the 34-year-old Brazilian Formula One™ star and Honda driver kept his cool under the searing heat of his home town of Monaco during its 2006 Grand Prix. For this race Rubens helmet is painted in the same livery as Tony Kannan (IRL driver) and at the same time Rubens was wearing Tony's helmet, Tony had his helmet painted in Rubens livery whilst racing in the Indy 500. Rubens Barrichello, the 34-year-old Brazilian Formula One™ star and Honda driver is seen here at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne in an exclusive 1/100 photo. He went on to finish the race in seventh position, but as always was positive and looking to more gain points next time round. He said: "I struggled with the whole race with the brakes and it was impossible for me to overtake, although I was able to get past Speed and gain position. I have a couple of points at least, so in that respect at least my season is underway now. I think we all realise what a lot of work there is to do in the next couple of weeks in testing if we are to start the European season in a more competitive position." More Details »
